Bayern – Saitama Global Business Camp 2024

Three Saitama companies, Saitama City Foundation for Business Creation and JETRO Saitama participated in the Global Business Camp 2024, which was organized by Bayern Innovative and IHK Nürnberg.
The theme was ‘Business Transformation in Germany’, and we were able to have fruitful discussions with Bayern industrial clusters, universities and several various companies about topics such as;
●　EV shift (ex-engine parts)
●　Crisis awareness (decrease in number of parts)
●　Shift to a new business model such as software, mobility services, battery technology, health care etc
●　The shortage of skilled workers
●　DE carbonization (environmental innovation) 
and more.

Bayern is a prosperous region for the automotive industry, and in response to a sense of impending crisis, the region is focusing its efforts on business reform at an earlier stage than most other regions globally, and initiatives are being taken to transform businesses to be in line with these goals in mind.
