Company profile / business description

Actment Co., Ltd. was founded in 1960 when Actment began to manufacture springs. In the decades to come, we constantly expanded both in our technology and product range and became a highly innovative company in the medical technology sector. In the 90’s, in addition to the plastic processing and other technologies, the precision machining of shape memory alloys became one of the core elements of our company.
Currently, about half of the company’s turnover is generated by medical devices. In addition to catheters, stents, guidewires and numerous other parts for endoscopy of various disciplines, we produce components such as auxiliary hearts or disposable medical products such as the »Nail Aids« corrective tool for the treatment of ingrown toenails.
